In the bottom of the seventh, Lancaster rallied for the tying and go-ahead runs. Gailen led off the inning with a home run to right-center field. Later in the inning, with runners on the corners, Hobson delivered a line drive base hit to right field, bringing in the go-ahead run.
Jackson earned the win, allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts and one walk over seven innings. Struck took the loss, yielding two runs on six hits and four walks, striking out three in six and two-thirds innings. Cory Burns earned his second consecutive save of the series with a scoreless ninth.
