Spring Training Game 3 Recap

The Ducks earned their first win of spring training by a final count of 8-6 over the Long Island Black Sox today. Both teams played 11 innings to make sure everyone on the Flock got their work in. A total of eight pitchers appeared for the Ducks in the ballgame, and all 13 position players also got into the game. CLICK HERE to view a box score from today’s contest. -Fehlandt Lentini: 2-for-5, 2B, 3 RBI, R

-Cody Puckett: 2-for-5, 2B, 2 RBI

-Joash Brodin: 3-for-6, 2 R

-Anthony Armenio: 1-for-2,Game-Winning HR (he batted in the 11th to close the game)

-Ducks Relievers: 8.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 15 K

The Ducks wrap up their exhibition schedule on Tuesday when they face the Black Sox again at 1:05 p.m. The game will be open to the public once again. Admission is free for Season Ticket Holders while a $5 donation to the QuackerJack Foundation will apply to the general public.
